Activities
The activities in AVIX are used to describe the operation and to help define the added color.

| ◼ Handle | Handling things | Assort/prepare before assembly, e.g. preparing tubes |
| ◼ Affix | Gluing, applying torque, screwing | Affixing a screw |
| ◼ Adjust | Adjust something | Often carried out after assembly |
| ◼ Assemble | Placing Value part in its final location on product | Only placing, thereafter add affix/adjust etc. |
| ◼ Inspect | Checking an assembly | Quality control |
| ◼ Return | Returning things | E.g. returning a tool |
| ◼ Read instruction | Getting information | Could be the first task at each workstation |
| ◼ Administration | Documentation of information | Writing, stamping |
| ◼ Wait | Waiting in workflow | E.g. when a machine is resetting itself |
| ◼ Work | Machine work | Value adding machine work, e.g. grinding, drilling |
