Replace the Local Database
Under some circumstances it can be of use to wipe the license server database and start from scratch. For example if a faulty license server id has been assigned during the server configuration. Faced with such a problem there are basically two options to fix the situation. Either reinstall the license server or wipe the database of the license server. Both options are pretty easy to do and in this chapter the latter option is described. Note that in both cases the License Server ends up in its default state. In that state the password is again set to “default” and on first logon a new password and license server id needs to be set.
The database replacement process:
- Download an empty database file from Solme’s customer center - http://customers.solme.se.
- Stop the License Server by stopping the service called “Secureon License Server”
- [Optional] - Make a copy of your current database by copying the database folder to another location. The database folder is
“<installdir>\jboss\server\default\data\hypersonic”, normally. - Copy the empty database file “localDB.script” to the database folder “ <installdir>\jboss\server\default\data\hypersonic” overwriting the file already there “C:\Program Files (x86)\ Secureon\LicenseServer\jboss\server\default\data\hypersonic”.
- Start the License Server by starting the service called “Secureon License Server”
