License Management - General

In order to be able to use AVIX, a valid license is required in addition to the installed software.
Licenses can be obtained from Solme AB and they are available in different formats.

• Trial license
• Fixed license
• Floating license

And a floating license have one of the sub types:

• Site
• Country
• Global

Fixed licenses and trial licenses are locked to individual computers, whereas floating licenses are locked to local license servers that in turn can issue these licenses temporary to users via network connection.
