Creating time samples (stop watch time study)

Once the process steps has been created, you can chose whether to use a single time measurement or use samples of times to get an average

When creating a stopwatch sample, the first sample will inherit the start/stop from the task. Then you add samples depending on how many samples you need to calculate an average, or to see the time spread.

The total time for the task will be calculated based on the chosen time calculation method: Shortest time, longest time, average time or estimated cycle time. The later one will use a statistical approach to calculate an average excluding the extreme values.

Note that each sample can have a separate video linked, i.e. it is not necessary to use the same video linked to the task.
