Active Directory Synch [AVIX 5.1.13+]

This book intends to cover how to setup and use LDAP to synchronize groups in AVIX with member content from an LDAP source, ex. Acitve Directory. A complete setup is typically divided into one part performed on AVIX Server and one part performed from an AVIX Client.

On AVIX Server some configuration is needed to enable LDAP server communication (credentials, server information). Via an AVIX Client connected to the AVIX Server, the security system LDAP Groups are created and configured to fetch information from the LDAP source. The LDAP Groups are also configured like other Groups, to integrate in the security system.
