Activities In AVIX
All executed work operations are classed into different activities in AVIX. This enables the
result to be calculated for each activity, that is, to see how the total time for the product is
distributed between different activities. It is also the activities in combination with the
object type that determines which color the action is given.
| Activity | Description | Color |
|---|---|---|
| Take | Taking things | ◼ |
| Place | Placing things | ◼ |
| Handle | Handling things | ◼ |
| Affix | Gluing, applying torque, screwing | ◼ |
| Adjust | Adjust something | ◼ |
| Assemble | Placing Value part in its final location on product | ◼ |
| Inspect | Checking an assembly | ◼ |
| Return | Returning things | ◼ |
| Read instruction | Getting information | ◼ |
| Administration | Documentation of information | ◼ |
| Wait | Waiting in workflow | ◼ |
| Work | Machine work | ◼ |
It is the chosen activity for a work operation together with the object type (value object or
fixation object) that determines whether the operation is given the color green, yellow or
red. The green time (productive time) is only given to the combination of assembling a
value object.
