Balance result is a numeric presentation of the line/variant/variant mix balance. The result consists of four sections; Time, Utilization, Takt and Resources. Each section contains a number of columns, some are always shown and some are shown when the section is expanded by pressing

The numeric table is instantly updated when a change occurs.
The columns in the balance result are listed and explained below the picture.
Time section
Max: Max time of executor or max time of all children.
(a child is an element in a sub level).
∑Operator: Sum of all tasks executed by operator or operators (or tasks under workstation).
∑Machine: Sum of all tasks executed by machine or machines.
Inner balance loss: Sum of internal balancing loss between resources.
Deficit: (Max time of selected object) – (efficiency takt time), red if positive.
Unassigned tasks: The sum of all tasks that has not been assigned to a resource or resources.
Utilization section Utilization is defined as the total time divided by the efficiency takt time.
Operator Mean: Average utilization for the selection and its children.
Machine Mean: Average utilization for the selection and its children.
Max: Maximum utilization for the selection and its children.
Min: Minimum utilization for the selection and its children.
Takt section
Time: The takt time defined at line level, inherited to workstation.
Efficiency: The efficiency defined at line level, inherited to workstation.
Efficiency takt: The Takt time multiplied by the Efficiency.
Resources section
Operators: Sum of operators. (Each assigne is only counted once)
Theoretical ops.: Theoretical number of resources (human or machine) needed based on data.
Machines: Sum of machines. (Each assignee is only counted once)
Theoretical mach.: Theoretical number of resources (human or machine) needed based on data.
