System requirements

Below figures are valid for a company with approx 50-100 users, having a quite large amount of data.

CPU: 8 core 2 GHz processor
RAM: 32 GB
Disk space (AVIX Server): see table below

• Server installation : ~ 1 GB
• Server managed files (optional): Same as files on disk + configurable automatic backups of those. Est, 0GB - 1TB
• DBMS, e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc: approx 40 GB excluding binary objects. Binary files can, depending on use become very large.

Note that the DBMS server may run on a separate machine.

AVIX Server is designed to work with a wide range of DB management servers. At the time of writing, support for MS SQL 2019 and PostgreSQL 12+ are verified.
