Introduction and preparations

This is a digital training material to be used for first time users as well as experienced AVIX user needing a fresh-up. The document Is divided into different sections covering different parts of AVIX and the available modules. You can either go directly to the parts you are interested in, or go step-by-step.

Note, some of the steps presented here require access to different AVIX modules. If you are not sure, or need additional training licenses, please contact your AVIX representative.

InstallING AVIX

If you are in an corporate IT environment, you can ask your local IT department for an AVIX Installation. If you are a single user and have obtained a license key, you can download and Install AVIX via our customer center:

STARTING AVIX THE FIRST TIME

If you are unsure, check with your AVIX representative or IT department regarding your license type.

If you have a fixed single user license:

Locating/switching between the different modules

This is how to switch between the modules in AVIX - Actually, the modules are called "perspective", think of it like this: You are looking at the process from different perspectives. You can look at your process sequence from a "time study perspective" or from a  "FMEA perspective" - Same data but different focus.

DOWNLOAD TRAINING MATERIAL

1) Download the training package file to your desktop:

2) Extract/unzip the folder on your desktop (or where you prefer), by right clicking the downloaded file and select "extract all"
